wth. some people don't understand the meaning of 'concert etiquette' . AND if you're gonna come to EDS night and start playing with some new toy which fascinates you, please, give that precious ticket to someone who'd actually APPRECIATE it more than you do.

And yes rachel, wei hong rocks. he does. at least he gets the meaning of respect for the performers.

wow, you think it's really easily to put up a performance for over 2000 people huh? you think it's REALLY EASY to NOT screw up a performance and to make it a success? why not YOU try organising a concert? why not YOU try to just perform in ONE single item and not screw it up? i'd like to see you try. wth.

WOW. you had to sit on the track and we didn't? you were the only person stuck at the back who couldn't see? wow, how i pity you. your shorts were wet? aww, you poor thing. why not i let you in on a secret? my skirt+shorts+undies were wet :O how magnificent. wow. did you not realise that the weather wasn't being very nice to us the last few days? did your nice chairperson not inform you about the fact that you could actually bring a plastic bag to sit on? or was your royal ass to precious to be placed on something which could possibly cause you that teeny weeny bit of discomfort?

and sure, we DIDN'T know that a rubik's cube is a NON-ELECTRONIC IQ TOY. sure, we didn't know that a pen or paper was also something non-electronic. well i see that you really don't see the logic behind groupings. wow, your rubik's cube which is a NON-ELECTRONIC IQ TOY got confiscated, so pens and papers should be confiscated as well? wow. should we take away your clothes as well? they're non-electronic, you know. should we take away your life, since it doesn't run on electricity?

and i also can tell that your sense of humour is an absolute ZERO. which person in the right sense of mind would confiscate something of yours and tell you "I'M GONNA SELL IT!" -.- maybe you would, but i'm sure the teacher has a much better sense of humour than you do :) and no, a reflection is NOT only something for you to reflect on what you have done wrong. have you not realised that we are made to write math reflections in our math journals? or have you been too caught up in protecting your precious little $10.90 cube from any form of danger? well, let me remind you that we have to do reflections for our math journals. and this reflection is to assist you in revising what you have learnt so far. similarly, the reflection the teacher had wanted you to write was basically for you to realise what you did when you shouldn't have. tell me. should she not pose such a form of "punishment"to those who chose not to pay the performers ANY form of respect by coming uo with some lame excuse like "oh, we couldn't seeeeee!" or "the sun was too glaring!!!" or "i was feeling too uncomfortable cause my royal butt was wet!!!", would these people have realised what they did was actually wrong? the only thing that would probably occurred to them would be "i should play it when the teacher isn't looking next time." now, would confiscating the cube have any effect whatsoever on this particular person? NO.

can you at least TRY to put yourself in the performers' shoes? how would you have felt if you were there dancing or playing your instrument or just trying your best to make the performance work, when you look up and see 3/4 of the crowd minding their own business, oblivious to what was going on, and that only a pathetic 1/4 of the crowd was actually watching? and you had to keep smiling with all your might, and create that image in your mind that everyone was paying attention and appreciating your hard work. how would you feel? do you know how much effort these performers put into this concert alone? do you know how many practices they had to put this performance together? since you, mr smartypants, have so many constructive comments, why don't you bring it up to the teachers? maybe they can arrange for you to have a really special seat right in the middle of the performance. then you'd have the best view of all! now isn't that just perfect :D

that's a very special line i'd like to give you. you can keep it. maybe then you'd get the true meaning of watching a concert.
